Your nervous system is the master controller of your body, carrying messages from your brain to every organ, tissue and cell by way of your spinal cord and nerves. If these messages don’t get delivered accurately, a variety of issues can arise, including pain, dysfunction, dis-ease and dis-harmony.
Think of your brain as the computer server and your organs, cells and tissues are all workstations connected to that server. If the data isn’t delivered from the server to a workstation correctly, that workstation will crash.
If you have a bone out of place in your spine, it can put pressure on the nerve, interrupting the flow of information from the brain to the area of the body served by that nerve and negatively affecting that “workstation.” Chiropractic’s goal is to locate and correct these out-of-place bones, removing the interference from the nervous system to allow for optimal communication between the brain and body.
When your nervous system is working as it should, all systems of the body can function at a higher level as well, and your body may heal itself from within.
